BOOSTERS

Cubex Boosters are generally sold along with a Cubex drill or to a mine that already has an ITH drill and is looking for higher penetration rates. Cubex boosters complete any drill package by providing necessary air or water pressure within close proximity of the drill.
Cubex boosters are known within the industry for their robust build, easy access to serviceable parts, and a high Industry CFM ( M³/min ) rating. Cubex boosters are designed with electric motors improving emissions and noise control. These boosters have low sensitivity to low mine air pressure, improving productivity, resulting in lower cost of operation.
Reciprocating boosters are an economical choice for increasing the performance of ITH drills for special applications and production requirements.
Screw boosters are more robust, last considerably longer than reciprocating boosters, have lower operating costs, and the ability to operate at higher pressures. However, they do require a larger motor to create the same output, which increases power demands.
Water boosters provide high-pressure water for the Wassara water hammer drilling system.
The product nomenclature corresponds to the type of booster and the power of the motor — so an R55, for example, is a reciprocating booster with a 55kW motor.
